Stanley J. McKnight, J.D.

FOUNDER

As President of McKnight Associates, Inc., Stan provides a strong Higher Education sector consulting practice in human resources delivering services in compensation, benefits design, employee and labor relations, and organizational design.

Professional Experience

Stan gained extensive experience with research universities and medical centers serving as the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources at UCLA for six years and Chief Human Resources Officer at Purdue University for twelve years. He held senior level human resources positions at the University of Iowa and its Hospitals and Clinics, the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, and the University of Oklahoma. He served as the Resident Director of the Iowa Merit System while at the University of Iowa.

Stan conducted a comprehensive survey of employee benefits within higher education, including 600 colleges and universities nationally sponsored by the College and University Professional Association of Human Resources (CUPA-HR).
